So nothing seems to be new… just saw this and loved it. Of course it bears a passing resemblance to my own at Willis York…

The one that I made earlier... I definitely still love this.

Ombre fascination

Seeing Gwen Stefani’s gorgeous wedding dress on display at Te Papa stirred up my long held passion for ‘Ombre’ in interiors. Ombre is the French term for shaded, where colours graduate from light to dark. Ever since I stepped into the glorious ‘pink fade to white’ (no idea what it was really called), bar at Sketch in London I have had visions of what I would do with Ombre… it seems that the possibilities are endless.

Air NZ feat. WLG Pop Up Restaurant, Melb.

Here’s the very cool stunt that Air New Zealand pulled on unsuspecting diners at WLG Pop Up Restaurant in Melbourne. See my portfolio pages for more images of the restaurant here.

SICIS Love

I’ve just been introduced to the glorious and imaginative world of Sicis. And what a fabulous world it is! One part extraordinary tiles – see Sicis Tiles for just one image and then proceed to get lost in their inspiring catalogue. You’ll love it. The other parts of the Sicis brand are jewellery and furniture, the latest range of the latter designed by Christian Lacroix. It just oozes Lacroix and it’s absolutely beautiful and surreal. In fact I think that Senor Dali would feel quite at home nestling into the Jeanne 2 chaise. These are some of my picks and coincidentally their design has more than a whiff of the shapeliness of my own garden benches. See here if you haven’t glimpsed them yet. I do have a thing for that right now. As it seems does Mr. Lacroix. Nice company to keep.
