Kerryn Dunshea Interior Design is a boutique interior design studio based in Wellington, NZ.

We specialise in individual and elegant residential interiors, hospitality and leisure projects. No two projects are alike and each is customised toward the client, their interests and lifestyle and above all their comfort.

Kerryn Dunshea graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Design in Interior Design in 1998 and has worked continuously in the field of architecture and design since.

From 2001 - 2009 Kerryn worked for the eminent British interior designer Victoria Fairfax throughout Great Britain, Ireland, Scotland and as far afield as Bermuda and Montana. Key projects include a complete refurbishment spanning 4 years of The Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle; the full fit out of an apartment on board The World, a private lodge at Big Sky Resort in Montana, and stately homes throughout England and Scotland.

KDID makes use of the skills gathered on these large and often complicated projects from budget and project management to design, inventive scheme-work and draughting bespoke joinery and cabinetry including kitchens and bathrooms. We have amassed a ‘black book’ of innovative and exciting trusted trades and suppliers both in NZ and abroad that we call upon as a project requires.

Kerryn has a personal passion for antiques and art and is always on the hunt for unusual and interesting elements to add to a bespoke environment.
