Historic Home Bathrooms

These bathrooms, from our Historic Home project, were redesigned to balance modern elegance with preserved original features.

With the clients’ children now moving out, they wanted the family bathroom reimagined while keeping elements like the floor, shower tiles, and certain fittings that were still in excellent condition.
The floor tile influenced the color palette, leading to the choice of a natural cross-cut travertine tile mosaic that wraps seamlessly around the room, extending into the deep window reveal for continuity.
A custom American Oak vanity adds warmth, with storage beneath the window that also cleverly conceals the gaps from the original pipework, combining functionality with style.

We transformed the master ensuite by rethinking its potential!
With a spacious footprint but underused storage, we opted to replace the double basin with a sleek floor-to-ceiling storage cupboard — perfect for maximizing functionality without compromising style.
The natural travertine tiles and bespoke oak cabinetry echo the design of the family bathroom, creating a harmonious flow throughout. A refined blend of beauty and practicality!
